Charles Manson Dies at 83
Charles Manson, the notorious leader of the Manson Family cult that murdered actress Sharon Tate and six others in 1969, died Sunday in a Bakersfield, Calif., hospital. He was 83.

The California Department of Corrections released a statement reading, “Inmate Charles Manson, 83, died of natural causes at 8:13 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at a Kern County hospital.”

Manson returned to the hospital in mid-November after being hospitalized in January. He was transferred out of Corcoran State Prison, where he had been serving nine life sentences. He had been denied parole 12 times.

The shocking murders brought the carefree hippie era of the late 1960s to a dark end, with Manson and his followers becoming infamous cultural figures. Though he didn’t commit the Tate and Labianca murders himself, the Corrections Department said “On December 13, 1971, Manson received a first-degree murder conviction from Los Angeles County for the July 25, 1969, death of Gary Hinman and another first-degree murder conviction for the August

The country star is teaming up with Habitat for Humanity and Ply Gem, a manufacturer of exterior building materials, to build 15 homes for families in need of affordable housing in North Charleston. Charlie Rose Accused of Sexual Harassment by 8 Women, Apologizes for 'Inappropriate Behavior'
Charlie Rose has been accused of sexual harassment by eight women.

The longtime TV host, who co-anchors CBS This Morning in addition to hosting a PBS talk show, is accused of unwanted sexual advances -- including groping, lewd phone calls and nudity -- according to the women who have come forward to The Washington Post. The accusers all say they are former employees or aspiring employees of Rose, and the alleged incidents are from the late 1990s to as recently as 2010.

Five women spoke on condition of anonymity to the Post, while three came forward on the record: Rose's former assistant Kyle Godfrey-Ryan, former Charlie Rose show coordinator Megan Creydt and former intern Reah Bravo.

Et has reached out to Rose's rep. Since the Post story ran, the anchor has reportedly been suspended by CBS, who Et has also reached out to. PBS and Bloomberg have reportedly suspended Rose as well.
