The CW’s “Riverdale” returned strong last night for its Season 2 premiere, doubling its 18-49 audience from its first finale. The overall viewer growth was even larger, with millennials really flocking to the Wednesday episode.
Unfortunately, new companion series “Dynasty” didn’t fare as well, debuting to pretty modest numbers — even by CW’s standards. Fox won primetime among adults 18-49 thanks to “Empire,” while “Survivor” and “Seal Team” carried CBS to a total-viewer victory.
