“We’ll start filming in August and it will air in 2019,” Walsh told EW.com. “We’ve seen [Julia], she’s done some table reads [and] she’s doing well.”

The 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards were presented on Sunday night, January 21, during a ceremony hosted by Kristen Bell and simulcast on TNT and TBS. This 24th annual event honored the best achievements in film and television acting as decided by more than 100,000 members of the unified SAG-AFTRA union representing performers, radio and TV personalities, and other media professionals. But what do they mean for the Oscars, whose nominations are announced just two days later on January 23? Scroll down for our live updating report of all the film results as their announced.

'An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn': Film Review | Sundance 2018

'An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn': Film Review | Sundance 2018
It isn't often one walks into a filmmaker's sophomore Sundance feature praying to god he has sold out and abandoned his artistic vision. But then, it isn't often one encounters a film as tiresomely eager to offend as Jim Hosking's flaccid fithfest The Greasy Strangler, which stained Sundance screens in 2016. The good news in An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn is that Hosking has gone Hollywood by hiring actual comic actors this time, including Aubrey Plaza and, as the titular Luff Linn, Craig Robinson. He has also, this time around, eschewed scenes of naked geriatrics slathered with lard. The...

SAG Awards Snubs: 'Lady Bird,' 'Handmaid's Tale' Shut Out
While Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri essentially swept the SAG Awards, winning three of the four awards for which it was nominated (two nominations were in the same category), a number of other awards favorites went home empty-handed.

Just two weeks after taking home two awards at the Golden Globes, Lady Bird was entirely shut out, even though actor-turned-director Greta Gerwig got an on-camera shout-out from host Kristen Bell midway through the show. The Saoirse Ronan-starrer went into the evening up for three awards including the SAG Awards' best picture equivalent, best cast, and individual prizes for Ronan and Laurie...
