Shadow Play (1961). A man on death row tries to convince those around him that they are characters in his recurring dream. In this film's linking story, an architect meets a group of strangers at a farmhouse and tells them he's dreamed of this meeting many times before.

Twenty Two (1961). A hospital patient has a recurring dream of a woman at the morgue saying, "Room for one more, honey." In "Hearse Driver," the title character tells a race car driver laid up in hospital, "Room for one more."

The Dummy (1962), Caesar and Me (1964) and this film's "Ventriloquist's Dummy" all feature a dummy with a mind of his own.
