A critic described the film as "Starship Troopers meets Top Gun". See more »
Early in the movie, during the Kilrathi attack on the Pegasus station, the computer screens repeatedly make reference to a "breech" of the station. The correct word is "breach." They're homonyms but mean completely different things. See more »
You just plotted a jump through a gravity well in under 10 seconds. The Navcom can't do that.
That's not bad. I mean, that's not bad for the second best pilot in the Academy!
YOU SHUT UP! Next time you don't follow my orders I dump you with the rest of the garbage, you got that? You plot a course for the Tiger Claw, Mr Blair.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie after reading the bad prior reviews. It is a good combat science fiction movie. The special effects were really good considering the budget of the film. The acting was decent, and the story was well written. The only problem I had was the poor effects of the Kilrathi, they did not look good at all. Fans of the wing commander games should go see this movie with an open mind. No Mark Hammil, but the movie is not any lesser with him missing. See this film, you will like it. 10/10
