Evangeline Lilly Hints At Wasp Flashback In Avengers 4

While the world waits for Avengers: Infinity War to arrive next May, the folks over at Marvel Studios are busy working on its equally highly-anticipated sequel, Avengers 4. Though the cast and crew have been careful to remain tight-lipped about it, the behind the scenes shots some have posted on social media have given us a few hints as to what we can expect.

The latest example is a photo shared by Evangeline Lilly. The actress posted a snap of herself after her working day as Hope Van Dyne Aka Wasp had wrapped. Innocent enough, right? On the surface, sure, but fans quickly noted that Lilly’s bob haircut in the photo was a close match for her look in 2015’s Ant-Man rather than the longer hair she’s been seen to sport in set photos from Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Another One Of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Confirmed For Avengers 4

2018 marks a decade since Robert Downey Jr. strapped himself into an experimental metal suit and blasted himself halfway across a desert. With every subsequent cinematic appearance that Iron Man armor got sleeker and more impressive, as did the McU films it featured in. But all good things must come to an end, and it’s looking as if Avengers 4 might see the final appearances from some of the all-time greatest movie superheroes.

After all, Thanos and his so-called Black Order are a force to be reckoned with, so we can only assume that there will be a few casualties in Avengers: Infinity War that will have a knock-on effect on the roster of characters available for Avengers 4. No one lives forever – not even heroes – and by the time the credits roll on the third Avengers movie, we’re sure that we’ll have had to say goodbye to a few individuals.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige says future Avengers movies will take place in space

Although Marvel is keeping its Phase Four plans tightly under wraps, we do know that the studio plans on delving further into the cosmic universe post-Avengers 4, with Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn helping Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige to help shape this side of the McU.

Well, it seems this cosmic emphasis won’t just apply to the likes of the Guardians and Thor, as Feige has revealed at Brazil’s Comic-Con Experience that future Avengers movies will see Earth’s Mightiest Heroes venturing into outer space.

“If the Avengers survive, we will see more films with them in space,” said Feige (via Talkies Network). “I love and would like to see more films in space.”

It is expected that the McU will receive a major shake up after Avengers: Infinity War and its untitled sequel, with characters such as Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel coming to the forefront.

Jeremy Renner teases his Hawkeye Avengers 4 costume as Gwyneth Paltrow shares spoilery behind the scenes video

Jeremy Renner has teased an image of what looks to be his Hawkeye/Ronin costume for Avengers 4 and Gwyneth Paltrow has had a spoiler-filled behind the scenes video deleted.

The question of just who is going to turn up in Avengers 4, or rather, who will survive Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, is one that is asked often. Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye is a character that will be showing up however, and the actor has shared on Instagram a shot of himself in costume (prior spy photos have indicated that he’ll be getting a brand new suit as he moves over to his Ronin persona).

The shadowy photo was posted along with the caption: “Costume on point today … what do you think?”

Meanwhile, Gwyneth Paltrow, who plays Pepper Potts in the McU, may have just given away a pretty big spoiler regarding her character in Avengers 4.

Will Wolverine Ever Cross Over Into The McU? Hugh Jackman Shares His Thoughts

Day by day, we’re beginning to form a clearer understanding of the potential Disney/Fox merger and, crucially, what it’ll mean for the McU going forward.

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige is reportedly keen to gain access to the X-Men and “cross-pollinate” its character roster with that of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has fueled rumors that Disney‘s pursuit of 21st Century Fox will leave the door open for Hugh Jackman to don the adamantium claws once again.

It’s a crossover that has been rumored for the best part of 20 years, and one that gained a tremendous boost after Marvel and Sony decided to incorporate Spider-Man into the McU. But if Disney closes its landmark deal and assumes control of Fox’s entertainment assets, a Wolverine cameo in the Marvel franchise isn’t necessarily out of the question – it’ll merely involve an actor other than Hugh Jackman.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige compares Chris Evans’ Captain America to Christopher Reeve’s Superman

It’s fair to say that a few eyebrows were raised when Marvel first announced that the former Human Torch Chris Evans would be taking on the role of Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Evans has since won over any critics with his superb performances in the Captain America and Avengers films, and Marvel StudiosKevin Feige has been singing the actor’s praises in an interview with Vanity Fair, where he compared him to Christopher Reeve’s Man of Steel.

“Casting Captain America was super hard,” said Feige. “I started to think, ‘Are we not going to be able to find Captain America, and if we can’t, what are we going to do with Avengers? Is the whole thing going to fall apart?’ And, then, finally opening ourselves up to Chris Evans, who we had initially sort of just looked

Marvel’s Kevin Feige explains how to build a cinematic universe

Over the past decade, Kevin Feige has led Marvel Studios to phenomenal success, with the Marvel Cinematic Universe becoming the highest-grossing movie franchise in history with over $13 billion in box office receipts. This success has prompted several other attempts at shared universes, although the likes of Warner’s DC Extended Universe and Universal Dark Universe have not yet managed to reach the same kind of critical and commercial heights.

During an interview with Vanity Fair, Feige was asked what advice he’d give to those looking to build their own universes, responding that:

“The only advice, and I’ve sort of said this already today, is don’t worry about the universe. Worry about the movie. We never set out to build a universe. We set out to make a great Iron Man movie, a Hulk movie, a Thor movie and then be able to do what, at the time,

Chris Evans Has Crazy Idea for a Human Torch / Captain America Crossover

Chris Evans Has Crazy Idea for a Human Torch / Captain America Crossover
Ever thought about a Captain America and Human Torch movie starring two different versions of Chris Evans? You're not the only one because, as it turns out, Chris Evans has a pitch for just such a movie. With all of this recent talk of Disney possibly purchasing Fox, The Captain America: Civil War and Fantastic Four star sees an opportunity to double up on his superhero roles in the same movie. Here's what he had to say about it on Twitter recently.

"So who do I talk to about a Cap/Human Torch buddy comedy spin-off? I'm thinking Planes, Trains and Automobiles meets Parent Trap."

Long before Chris Evans took up the mantle of Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he played Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch, in the Tim Story Fantastic Four movies for Fox. To say the least, the movies aren't great and they certainly don't hold

Edgar Wright says deal for Baby Driver sequel is “being hammered out as we speak”

Writer-director Edgar Wright looks set to return to make a sequel to his kinetic car chase blockbuster Baby Driver and has said a deal is “being hammered out as we speak”.

Wright told Entertainment Weekly he is in the midst of talks surrounding a follow-up and said nothing had been agreed yet, but hoped he would “at least write” the sequel.

Baby Driver, which starred Ansel Elgort as a getaway driver with tinnitus, made more than $220 million at the global box office from a mere $34m budget.

Wright said he has “lots of ideas” for a sequel, but also has many other projects in the pipeline and does not want to see a repeat of his troubles with Marvel’s Ant-Man that led to a big gap in his filmography.

He said: “Those talks are already in the works. The deal is being hammered out as we speak. So, hopefully,

We Think We Know How Avengers 4 Is Going To End

In Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos will finally step out of the shadows and take on the combined forces of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. After various teaser appearances and cameos dating all the way back to 2012’s The Avengers, there’s a lot of hype for the Mad Titan and he’s all set to be the biggest, baddest enemy the heroes of the Marvel universe have ever faced. We’re sure that the titular team will ultimately be able to take him down, but they’re certainly going to have a tough time doing so.

Not only will Thanos have the Black Order there to help him, but he’ll also be in possession of the incredibly powerful Infinity Gauntlet, which will be fully equipped by the time the film rolls around. It’ll essentially allow the uber villain to wreak havoc and do just about anything he wants, which

Posterized December 2017: ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi,’ ‘Phantom Thread,’ ‘The Shape of Water,’ and More

“Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover” is a proverb whose simple existence proves the fact impressionable souls will do so without fail. This monthly column focuses on the film industry’s willingness to capitalize on this truth, releasing one-sheets to serve as not representations of what audiences are to expect, but as propaganda to fill seats. Oftentimes they fail miserably.

The critics group selections for best of everything “Cinema 2017” are here and the major players involved are arriving in limited release so audiences can play along. Big city living should provide ample opportunities to see what the hullabaloo is about and choose your own faves within it.

Not only are studios dropping their contenders all at once to ensure their yuletide cheer is tempered by box office receipts, though. They’re also not disappointing us with posters that can’t do their movies justice. I had to leave

After all, they’ve got their hands more than full for the next year or two with a number of high profile releases all cooking in the oven, ready to excite and thrill audiences.

Avengers: Infinity War set photo may feature a major Hulk spoiler

In lieu of an Incredible Hulk solo movie, which due to rights issues with Universal is unfortunately off the table for the time being, Marvel Studios announced that the Green Goliath will be getting his own three-movie arc across Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War and the as-yet-untitled Avengers 4.

As we saw in Thor: Ragnarok, Banner had remained in his Hulk form for two years, as his alter-ego developed more intelligence and the ability to speak, and now thanks to a set photo from Atlanta Filming on Twitter, we may have an idea where this arc is set to take us next in Avengers: Infinity War

Well… to rock all of y'all's world a little more. Have fun figuring this out. (Btw Marvel said it was ok to put this out I have just been holding to torture everyone) pic.twitter.com/SzTmPYeDyI

Ant-Man and the Wasp will be Marvel’s first romantic comedy

Marvel Studios has made a conscious effort to vary its superhero movies, dipping its toes into the genres of political thriller (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), space opera (Guardians of the Galaxy) and high school coming-of-age comedy (Spider-Man: Homecoming).

The first Ant-Man was billed as a heist movie, and now it seems that Marvel and director Peyton Reed are shifting gears for the upcoming sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp with the studio’s first romantic comedy.

According to Kinometro, a presentation was held by Marvel at the Kinorynok event in Russia, which included a new trailer for Black Panther, as well as a promo video for Ant-Man and the Wasp. And it was during the latter where the project was introduced as “the first rom-com from Marvel”.

Ant-Man 2 Is Marvel's First Romantic Comedy

Ant-Man 2 Is Marvel's First Romantic Comedy
Marvel movies, whether from Sony or Disney, have taken on different types of genres when making their movies. Spider-Man: Homecoming is loosely based off of a 1980s John Hughes movie, Captain America: Civil War took inspiration from spy movies, and the upcoming Infinity War has been compared to a heist movie. And now, it looks like Ant-Man and the Wasp could be Marvel's first romantic comedy, which will sit well with some fans and more than likely alienate others. It's hard to please everybody, but a Marvel rom-com has to be better than a normal one, right?

A new report out of the Russian entertainment market seems to give us a hint about the genre of Peyton Reed's Ant-Man 2, noting that it will be Marvel's "first rom-com." The news was released at the Kinorynok event in Russia and it's hard to make out the rest of the translation,

Elizabeth Olsen confirms Scarlet Witch return in Avengers 4

It’s common knowledge by now that Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel is set to really shake up the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the two-part superhero epic serving as a finale for several characters, as well as launching the McU into a new direction for Phase Four and beyond.

It’s expected as part of this finale that some of our favourites may find themselves falling in battle against Thanos and his minions. However, it seems that Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch will at least make it through to Avengers 4, as the actress has confirmed her involvement in the 2019 release by sharing a photo to social media showing a rather nasty bruise she’s suffered during filming…
