First Captain Marvel Set Photos Feature Nick Fury And Maria Hill

At long last, things are finally underway on Captain Marvel. Production has now kicked off in earnest and while Brie Larson is currently occupied at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, Atlanta is playing host to the rest of the cast, where shooting is underway. And, as was expected, the first batch of set photos have now arrived online, featuring none other than Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill).

The pics come to us courtesy of Just Jared, who claim that the project the two actors are working on is a mystery Marvel movie. However, given that Avengers 4 has already wrapped, and we know that Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s spinoff is just kicking off production, it makes the most sense that they’d be shooting Captain Marvel. Besides, which other in-development film from the studio would feature Fury and Hill?

Ant-Man And The Wasp’s Paul Rudd On Working With Michael Douglas And Michelle Pfeiffer

The last of three McU movies on the way this year is Ant-Man and the Wasp, which will expand the mythos of Marvel’s smallest hero in some interesting ways. In particular, Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne will finally get to suit up as Wasp (following the post-credits tease of 2015’s Ant-Man). What’s more, Michelle Pfeiffer will be joining the cast as Hope’s mother Janet, the original Wasp who was said to be lost in the Quantum Realm in the previous movie.

With Pfeiffer’s inclusion, Ant-Man and the Wasp now features at least two veritable legends of Hollywood, as we also have Michael Douglas, who’s reprising his role as the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym. Even though he’s appeared opposite some very fine actors in his time as part of the McU so far, star Paul Rudd is still taken aback by working with talent of this calibre.

Fans Notice Shocking Imagery On Evangeline Lilly’s Ant-Man And The Wasp Costume

After a few snaps that had appeared here and there, Marvel finally released one of the first official images from Ant-Man and the Wasp the other day, giving us our best look yet at the suit worn by Evangeline Lilly. Unfortunately, however, fans quickly noticed something quite surprising about the outfit.

See if you can spot it for yourself in the photo below, before flipping through to the next one:

Yup, your eyes are not deceiving you. The design on the midriff of Wasp’s suit looks a lot like, let’s say, a phallic symbol. It’s fair to say that fans are pretty offended by this. Not especially by the image itself, but rather how everyone working on the movie never thought to point it out and correct it.

Cap, Iron Man, Hulk And Ant-Man Goof Around In New Avengers 4 Set Pic

For the past few weeks, Marvel fans have been combing through one Avengers 4 set photo after another, hoping to find some clue as to what the Russo Brothers have planned for 2019.

Because make no mistake, their untitled Avengers sequel is arguably one of the most secretive Marvel movies yet, as self-professed McU scholars pore over story scraps and other clues pertaining to the studio’s cinematic universe. It’s a search that continues unabated, especially now that time travel and alternate realities have been thrown into the mix, but thanks to Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr., we’ve got one more pic to feast on.

From what we can tell, it appears to be taken from the same scene that’s been depicted in a number of other recent set photos. Though the context of what’s going on is unclear, we do know that it’ll involve Iron Man,

New Pics Show Brie Larson Continuing Her Captain Marvel Prep

Carol Danvers is officially reporting for duty – and it’s about time!

Now that both Infinity War and Avengers 4 have wrapped filming, Marvel Studios is starting to put things into motion for some of their other projects – namely Captain Marvel and Ant-Man and the Wasp. The latter McU flick is already deep in production, and will deliver some much-needed comic relief soon after the arrival of Joe and Anthony Russo’s superhero extravaganza, which will apparently “bring to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time.”

For Captain Marvel, it seems as if the project is finally about to get off the ground. Mississipi Grind duo Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck have been brought in to direct, while Marvel’s casting department has been busy locking down the likes of Jude Law (Walter Lawson/Mar-Vell), Ben Mendelsohn (?), DeWanda Wise (?) and Samuel L. Jackson, whose Nick Fury will seemingly be much different to the S.

Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 To Feature Femme Fatale Lead, Could It Be Black Cat?

To say that Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 has been placed on the back-burner may read as something of an understatement – Marvel still has Black Panther, Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel to contend with, after all, and Peter Parker’s second solo outing isn’t due to arrive until July of 2019.

Nevertheless, director Jon Watts is already hard at work developing his Homecoming follow-up. Case in point: That Hashtag Show brings word today that Watts and his team plan to cast a European actress, around 20 years of age, to play what’s being described as a “femme fatale.” Now, it’s important to note that we heard just the other week that the hunt for someone to bring Gwen Stacy to life was also underway, though you certainly wouldn’t describe the character as a “femme fatale,” so unless Marvel is going to be taking some pretty big creative liberties here,

Incredible Concept Art For The Avengers Takes You Back To Where It All Began

The countdown to Infinity War continues apace – by our calculations, Joe and Anthony Russo’s super-sized ensemble piece is exactly 105 days away from its release in North America – and to fan the flames of excitement, Marvel has now rolled out a gallery of frankly incredible concept art for The Avengers.

Coming to us by way of Cbm, these stills are a timely retrospective of Joss Whedon’s epic, crowd-pleasing crossover, which dragged the Marvel Cinematic Universe to dizzying new heights back in 2012 – $1.5 billion worldwide, to be specific. Now approaching its sixth birthday, The Avengers continues to be the gold standard of Hollywood’s superhero crossovers, and one need only look to Justice League‘s failings as an example of a movie that tried, and ultimately failed, to emulate Marvel’s success.

The McU shows no sign of slowing down, either, particularly now that Disney has agreed to buy out Fox’s entertainment assets.

Chris Evans confident with Avengers: Infinity War as “Marvel doesn’t miss”

With the release of Avengers: Infinity War fast approaching, it’s getting hard to contain our excitement for the Marvel superhero epic, which is set to serve as the culmination of everything we’ve seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe over the past ten years.

Speaking at Ace Comic-Con this past weekend, Chris Evans has been reflecting on his part in the film’s enormous ensemble cast, as well as sharing his own excitement for the final product, stating confidently that “Marvel doesn’t miss”.

“That was the best part of this movie, is that you really kind of, it really was for the first time for me feeling like… the first few movies it’s almost like it’s happening to somebody else,” said Evans. “You kind of feel like you’re watching it happen, but you’re not actually a part of it. This was kind of the

Brie Larson Swings By Nellis Air Force Base As Captain Marvel Prep Begins

Carol Danvers is officially reporting for duty – and not a moment too soon.

With Infinity War and Avengers 4 already in the can, Marvel Studios is now beginning to make preparations for its other superhero fare – namely Captain Marvel and Ant-Man and the Wasp. The latter McU flick is already deep in production, and will deliver some much-needed comic relief soon after the arrival of Joe and Anthony Russo’s Infinity War – the event movie to end all event movies.

For Captain Marvel, the wheels are finally in motion. Jackson, whose Nick Fury will seemingly be much different to the one-eyed leader fans have become accustomed to.

And they’ll all report to Brie Larson.

Samuel L. Jackson Teases A Very Different Nick Fury In Captain Marvel

Despite the tremendous amount of love fans have for Nick Fury, and the actor who plays him (Samuel L. Jackson), the character hasn’t been featured too heavily in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as of late. Though he was instrumental in putting the Avengers together, his role has been diminished quite a bit and he hasn’t been seen on screen since Age of Ultron. Speculation continues to mount that he’ll show up either in Infinity War or its currently untitled sequel, but one place that we know he’ll 100% appear is Captain Marvel.

The upcoming Brie Larson-led flick is due in theaters in just over a year now (March of 2019) and as such, we’re starting to learn a little bit more about it. Of course, we already know that it’s set to be an origin story and because of that, it’s going to take place in the 1990s.

The Big Problem with Wasp's Ant-Man 2 Costume That No One Noticed

The Big Problem with Wasp's Ant-Man 2 Costume That No One Noticed
A new picture from Ant-Man and the Wasp, featuring Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne in full costume together, was released earlier this week and many Marvel fans shared the picture to social media. Some fans picked up that the costumes have hidden designs of their respective insects on these suits, while friends of fans picked up on something else entirely. Upon closer inspection, Hope Van Dyne's Wasp costume appears to have a giant penis and testicles front and center, and now it's hard to un-see this giant phallic message.

This is beyond the blink really fast for 10 seconds and then look to reveal the hidden image. No, the penis stuck on Evangeline Lilly and her Wasp costume isn't even hiding, it's just right there in your face and it's really, really hard to believe that nobody at Marvel noticed. The testicles are the breast plates on the suit while

Stan Lee “disappointed” with his Black Panther cameo

There’s less than a month to go until the release of Marvel’s Black Panther, which means that we’re just weeks away from the next cameo from Marvel legend Stan Lee. However, it seems that Stan is a little disappointed with this one, as he was hoping to see himself battling Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa one-on-one.

“I’m a little disappointed in my Black Panther cameo,” joked Lee at the Ace Comic Con in Arizona (via ComicBook). “I had wanted a great fight scene where I fight the Black Panther to a standstill. I didn’t get that, but I want you to see the movie anyway. Even though it’s not my greatest cameo, you owe it to me to see it.”

Lee has already filmed a number of his upcoming cameos, covering this year’s Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp, as well

McU Intel Suggests Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 Is Headed To Europe

Nevertheless, director Jon Watts is already hard at work developing his Homecoming follow-up. Case in point: That Hashtag Show brings word that Watts and his team plan to whisk Spidey off to Europe – Germany or the United Kingdom, to be specific – where filming will begin a little earlier than expected on May 28th.

Said to be operating under the working title “Fall of George” (h/t Omega Underground), Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 will remain in production throughout the summer, before filming wraps in Atlanta this September – barring any unforeseen hiccups, of course.
