Trivia

The opening guitar notes of track "The Corridor", played before Hit Girl kills the thugs in the corridor, is based on "Kryptonite" by punk rock band Three Doors Down. The song is based on the fictional radioactive material in the Superman franchise, which is the titular character's primary weakness. See more »

Goofs

Incorrectly regarded as goofs: In the hallway, Hit Girl dramatically reloads both pistols in slow motion. She takes three shots total before the pistols run out of ammo. Then she throws the guns away and takes one from the next criminal. Hit Girl loaded the magazines herself earlier in the film; she may have ran out of bullets. See more »

Quotes

[first lines]
Dave Lizewski: I always wondered why no-one did it before me. I mean, all those comic books, movies, TV shows... you think that one eccentric loner would've made himself a costume. I mean, is everyday life really so exciting? Are schools and offices so thrilling that I'm the only one who fantasized about this? Come on, be honest with yourself, at some point in our lives we all wanna be a superhero.
