Maze Runner: The Death Cure review

The Death Cure is the best of a not great movie franchise...

The Maze Runner is a strange franchise. Languishing at the tail-end of the dystopian Ya craze, it’s a Frankenstein’s monster of things we’ve all seen before, yet the films themselves are so average that no one really notices when a new one reaches cinemas. It’s faired better than sister property Divergent, which never got to finish, but it’s still a world away from your Potters and Hunger Games.

The Death Cure brings its own baggage to the table, of crouse, finally reaching our screens a full year later than planned due to a serious on-set accident that led to star Dylan O’Brien being hospitalised.

After a rescue mission fails to retrieve Minho (Ki Hong Lee) Thomas (O’Brien), Newt (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) and the others plan to break into Wckd headquarters. Meanwhile, Teresa

Truth Or Dare Always Equals Death in New Blumhouse Horror [Trailer]

Ah, Blumhouse. I was wondering when we'd see the first offering of the year from the mega horror production house and it looks like the culprit this year will be Truth or Dare which, rather sadly, looks more in line with the mediocre horror the studio tends to produce than with Get Out.

The movie, directed by Jeff Wadlow of Kick-Ass 2 notoriety, stars TV stars Lucy Hale ("Pretty Little Liars") as Olivia and Tyler Posey ("Teen Wolf") as Lucas, friends who play a game of truth or dare while on vacation in Mexico only to find that the game is a murderous curse which has followed them home: if you don't complete the truth or dare, you die.

Both Hale and Posey have a rather fervent fan following so Truth or Dare is likely to play well with the [Continued ...]

Trailer For The Horror Thriller Truth Or Dare - Refuse The Dare and Die

Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for Blumhouse Productions'' new horror thriller Truth or Dare. Blumhouse has a string of really good successful horror movies like Get Out, which I loved; and Happy Death Day, which was surprisingly really good.

Will a cheesy sounding movie like Truth or Dare also surprise, or will it disappoint? There are certain elements in this trailer that I liked, and others that I didn't, so we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out. It's kinda like It Follows meets Final Destination. Here's the brief synopsis:

A harmless game of “Truth or Dare” among friends turns deadly when someone-or something-begins to punish those who tell a lie-or refuse the dare.

The movie was directed by Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2) and it stars Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars, Scream 4) and Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf, Scream: The TV Series). It also

Truth or Dare Trailer: Blumhouse Invites You to Play a Scary Game
Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars, Scream 4) and Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf, Scream: The TV Series) lead the cast of Truth or Dare, a supernatural thriller from Blumhouse where a harmless game of "Truth or Dare" among friends turns deadly when someone, or something, begins to punish those who tell a lie or refuse the dare. Blumhouse is on a winning streak with all of the success that Get Out has received along with the recent uprising in critically acclaimed horror movies.

The first trailer for Truth or Dare looks like a mashup between It Follows and the Final Destination franchise, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. If anyone can put a fresh and unique take on an existing idea, it's Blumhouse and Jeff Wadlow (Kick Ass 2). The horrifying
