Tywin Actor Charles Dance Would Consider Game Of Thrones Spinoff Series

Legendary British actor, writer and film director Charles Dance would love to appear in HBO’s planned Game of Thrones spinoff series, providing the story is up to scratch.

For four whole seasons, the actor ruled over Westeros as power-mongering patriarch Tywin Lannister, who was later killed by his own son, Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), while on the loo. But Charles Dance left a fairly big hole on HBO’s fantasy flagship, and it’s fair to say that viewers still miss his nuanced performances – for years, Tywin was the undisputed powerhouse of House Lannister, which hasn’t really been the same since his untimely death.

And though it’s unlikely given that HBO’s successor series are expected to explore different eras, Dance told Metro (via Cinema Blend) that he’d be game for a return trip to Westeros, should the stars align.

If it was in the same calibre,

October 2017 Box Office Returned to the Year's Downward Trend

October 2017 Box Office Returned to the Year's Downward Trend
After September delivered record numbers, the month of October saw the 2017 box office return to its downward trend, delivering calendar grosses down 15.6% compared to last year, falling below $600 million for the first time in ten years. Perhaps most startling is that with 287 films in release, the average per film was just $1.9 million, making it the first time that average has ever fallen below $2.1 million for any individual month based on BoxOfficeMojo's records going back to 1982. That being said, the Fall movie season has since come to an end and overall the season showed a ~6% improvement compared to last year thanks in large part to the record setting release of WB's It back in September, which became the first Fall release to ever gross over $300 million domestically. In fact, Warner Bros. had a strong Fall season overall, leading the charge in August, September and again in October despite the fact the

Blade Runner 2049 Set to Lose $80M, Is It 2017's Biggest Bomb?
The long-awaited sci-fi sequel Blade Runner 2049 was expected by many to continue a strong fall season at the box office, bolstered by Warner Bros.' surprise R-rated adaptation It. But instead, it continued to prove how fickle box office audiences have become. After a weak box office debut of $32.7 million, while underperforming in international markets, a new report claims that the sequel could result in financier Alcon Entertainment losing upwards of $80 million. Alcon founders Broderick Kosove and Andrew Johnson revealed on the eve of the movie's release that it needed to make at least $400 million worldwide, and it will end up falling far short of that mark.

The movie, set 30 years after the events of the original Blade Runner, has earned just $85.7 million domestic and $155 million from international markets, for a worldwide total of $240.7 million. Adding to its woes is the fact that Blade Runner 2049 bombed in China,

Shazam Gets Andi Mack Star Asher Angel as Billy Batson
Shazam! is coming together in a hurry after sitting in development for a very long time. Now, the long-gestating DC superhero flick has finally found its young Billy Batson. Asher Angel, best known for his work on Disney Channel's series Andi Mack, has been cast to play Billy Batson in Shazam, which is the next DC movie going into production.

Asher Angel is a relative newcomer, but given the fact that Billy Batson is a young kid in the world of DC Comics, that was likely always going to be the case when casting the part for the Shazam movie. Angel will star alongside Zachary Levi (Chuck), who was recently cast to play the titular hero in Shazam. Billy Batson can transform into an adult superhero by uttering the magic word "Shazam!" The word is an acronym of 6 Greek elders; Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury. He's gifted with amazing strength,

Annabelle Actress Grace Fulton Eyeing Mystery Role In Shazam!

Casting on Warner’s Shazam! is beginning to heat up. And not a moment too soon.

As David F. Sandberg and Co. prepare for a February start in Toronto, today brought word that Mark Strong (Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Green Lantern) has been approached to play the film’s big bad, Doctor Sivana. But the good news doesn’t end there.

In a follow-up report, Variety has now revealed that Grace Fulton (Annabelle: Creation) is in negotiations to star opposite Zachary Levi as one of Billy Batson’s close friends. Further details were not disclosed at this time, though some fans have come to the conclusion that Fulton has been earmarked to play Mary Marvel, the sister of Batson/Captain Marvel.

Sneak Peek new images of actress Julianne Moore ("Kingsman: The Golden Circle") in the latest issue of "InStyle" magazine", wearing "Givenchy" and "Michael Kors", photographed by Anthony Maule:

"People think directors direct actors," said Moore. "Really, what the director's doing is directing the audience's eye through the film.

"I actually think acting is a form of self-hypnosis. You have to be hyper, hyper aware of what's going on around you. You have to know where the lens is, what the shot is and where you're moving. And then you have to trick yourself into an emotional state where you believe this stuff is actually happening.

"I'm looking for the truth. The audience doesn't come to see you, they come to see themselves..."

China Box Office: ‘Geostorm’ Blows to $33 Million Win as ‘Blade Runner’ Flops

China Box Office: ‘Geostorm’ Blows to $33 Million Win as ‘Blade Runner’ Flops
“Geostorm” stormed the China box office with a strong $33 million in its opening weekend. That put it comfortably ahead of “Blade Runner 2049,” which struggled into third place.

Hollywood’s two sci-fi movies were pitched against each other by the dates choice of Chinese regulators. Easy to relate to weather disaster picture, “Geostorm” clearly outperformed “Blade Runner,” a futuristic fantasy franchise that may have been lauded by Western critics, but which had little recognition in China, and did not have the hype that might have come with box office success in North America.

According to Chinese data tracker, Ent Group, “Geostorm” earned some $500,000 in midnight screenings and topped the chart on each day. After three days it was reported as $33.2 million. Warner Bros. reported $34.1 million (or RMB221 million) from 17,000 screens. Some $3 million of the total was accounted for by 441 IMAX screens.

The playdates were telling of the two films’ different trajectories. “Geostorm” played
